Forensic doctors have completed the autopsy of the 25-year-old man who died in the Orthopedic Department of the Buzau County Emergency Hospital while waiting for a surgical intervention on his femur. The forensic conclusions indicate pulmonary thromboembolism as the cause of death, a severe complication commonly seen in immobilized patients. The young man had been immobilized after suffering a femur fracture in a traffic accident on January 2. Although he received anticoagulant treatment to prevent such complications, the surgical intervention was delayed, and the hospital management must clarify the reasons for the delay, unofficial sources indicating a lack of the necessary rod. The case has generated strong reactions in the community, and the young man's family has requested further clarifications regarding the management of the medical situation.
