On Saturday, December 27, 2025, 223 household consumers in Sector 3 of Bucharest were left without natural gas due to an incident at the common installation of the building located at Liviu Rebreanu Street No. 46-58. Distrigaz Sud Rețele announced that it interrupted the gas supply starting at 5:30 PM to ensure safety conditions.

The repair of the malfunctions will be carried out by an A.N.R.E. authorized company, and the resumption of supply will require contracting an economic operator authorized by the clients. Distrigaz Sud Rețele, a leader in natural gas distribution in Romania, has over 2.2 million clients and operates the distribution network in 20 counties, including Bucharest.
