Following the interventions of the Salvamont teams, 108 people were rescued in various mountainous areas of Romania. Of these, 34 required transport to the hospital, using the ambulances of SAJ, SMURD, or Salvamont, while the rest were transported by relatives, with the rescuers' consent. The most calls were received from the areas of Sinaia, Lupeni, Maramureș, and Brașov, but requests were recorded in almost all mountainous regions, including Bacău, Neamț, Harghita, Mureș, Gorj, Cluj, Prahova, Bihor, Alba, and Dâmbovița. Additionally, tourists contacted Salvamont 40 times on Sunday for information about trails. Representatives of Salvamont Romania urge tourists to be cautious and to inform themselves before embarking on mountain trails to avoid accidents.
