Nadia Comăneci takes the stage at L’Oréal Paris during Paris Fashion Week, in a look created in Romania

Nadia Comăneci represented Romania at Le Défilé L’Oréal Paris, held on September 28 in Paris as part of Paris Fashion Week. Her participation, as the brand’s local ambassador, marks a first for the Romanian branch: she is the first Romanian ambassador to take part in L’Oréal Paris’s annual event.

The gymnastics legend wore an outfit created entirely in Romania. The dress was made by ATU Body Couture, while the shoes were created by HARDOT. Nadia Comăneci walked alongside figures including Celine Dion, Viola Davis, Jane Fonda, Kendall Jenner, Eva Longoria, Andie MacDowell and Kristen Bell, who was participating for the first time.

The event took place at Place Joffre, between the Eiffel Tower and École Militaire, in a space transformed into an open-air stage dedicated to beauty, fashion and authentic self-expression. In Bucharest, hundreds of L’Oréal Romania collaborators, partners and employees gathered to watch the show and support Nadia’s appearance.

The participation carries special significance in 2026, designated “Nadia Year,” marking 50 years since the gymnast received a perfect 10 at the Montreal Olympic Games. The partnership between Nadia Comăneci and L’Oréal Paris was launched in 2025.
