From November 29 to December 28, 2025, Bucharest will celebrate the winter holidays with three Christmas markets with free entry, announced by the interim general mayor, Stelian Bujduveanu. These markets will be located in emblematic places: Constitution Square, University Square, and the National Opera Esplanade. The theme of this year's edition is music, which will bring together tradition and culture, with live performances and activities for all ages. A central element will be the 30-meter ecological Christmas tree, considered the largest in Romania, alongside Santa Claus's House and a Ferris wheel. Other Christmas markets will be opened in Bucharest, including in Drumul Taberei Park and Hala Laminor. The events will transform the city into a fairytale land, offering moments of joy for both Bucharest residents and tourists.
