The Capital City Hall has announced that approximately 100 new trees will be planted along the United Nations Boulevard, as part of the initiative to transform the area into a "park-city".
Workers from the Roads Administration are currently working on repairing sidewalks, laying pavement, arranging green spaces, and installing irrigation systems. The project also includes the planting of 15,000 plants, the arrangement of 2,000 square meters of lawn, the installation of 20 planters, and 36 benches.
The parking lot in the square has already been arranged and marked. According to the city hall, all works will be completed by the end of next month, transforming the United Nations Boulevard into a greener, cleaner, and more citizen-friendly place.
