On Sunday, Calea Victoriei in Bucharest hosts the event 'Open Streets - Bucharest, Urban Promenade', which runs until 10:00 PM. The theme of this edition is 'Resilient Bucharest: heritage, community, and urban safety'. The program starts at 11:00 AM with a guided tour led by Anita Sterea, which will explore the stories and heritage of Calea Victoriei, from the Equestrian Statue of King Carol I to the National Museum of Romanian History.
At 5:00 PM, Revolution Square will host the debate 'Reducing seismic risk - a joint effort', moderated by Răzvan Munteanu, featuring special guests who will discuss the necessary collaboration to enhance urban safety.
Additionally, between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM, an exhibition on measures to strengthen vulnerable buildings will be open. The program continues at the National Museum of Romanian History with the session 'Walking with your rights through Europe', dedicated to consumer information. Calea Victoriei will be pedestrianized between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM, and road traffic will resume after this time.
