The draft resolution for the establishment of a new park in Bucharest will be submitted to the vote of the General Council of the Municipality of Bucharest (CGMB) tomorrow.

A new park will be established in Bucharest on Sergent Major Cara Anghel Street, number 3.

The 10,442 square meter land, currently under the administration of the Ministry of National Defense, is set to be transferred to the public domain of the Municipality of Bucharest if the project is approved. This initiative addresses the deficit of green spaces in the area and aims to create a place of relaxation for Bucharest residents. The report from the Environmental Directorate highlights the ecological benefits of establishing the park.

After the transfer, the Sector 6 City Hall will have 5 years to make the investment, otherwise the land will revert to the public domain of the state.

These initiatives aim to improve access to green spaces in deficient areas.

Additionally, two new parks could be established in Bucharest, one in Sector 1, located on Caramfil G. Nicolae Ing Street, no. 52-54, in the Aviației area, and another in Sector 5, located on Ghidigeni Street – Section 2.
