The BTS group held an emotional concert in Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, marking their return to the music scene after a break for mandatory military service. The concert, which lasted an hour, took place on Friday, coinciding with the release of a new album that sold nearly 4 million copies on the first day. Although authorities estimated up to 260,000 spectators, between 40,000 and 42,000 fans attended the event, most watching the concert live on Netflix in 190 countries.
RM, the leader of the group, mentioned the emotions felt during the concert, while J-Hope expressed concerns about whether fans had forgotten them. Authorities in Seoul mobilized 8,200 personnel to ensure safety, considering past incidents. Although security measures were criticized by some, fans were thrilled about the group's return, with some traveling from abroad to attend.
