Vincent Kompany, the 39-year-old Belgian coach, took over the technical bench of Bayern Munich in the summer of 2024, coming from Burnley. In his first season, he managed to win the title in the Bundesliga and the German Supercup. After signing a new agreement, Kompany expressed gratitude to the club for the trust placed in him. The club's president, Herbert Hainer, emphasized that the contract extension represents a signal of stability, while the executive director, Jan-Christian Dreesen, highlighted the positive impact of the Belgian on the team.

Bayern Munich had an impressive start to the season, with seven consecutive victories and a series of 16 matches without defeat, setting records in the Bundesliga. Recently, the team matched the record of their rivals from Dortmund with 11 victories in all competitions.
