The new stadium of Dinamo will be named "Mircea Lucescu". The Minister of Internal Affairs has signed the order.

On the occasion of Mircea Lucescu's funeral, Minister Predoiu announced the initiation of legal procedures for the future Dinamo stadium to bear the name of this legendary coach. In a statement, Predoiu emphasized that the decision not only honors a coach but also an institution of Romanian, European, and world football. Mircea Lucescu, with a career spanning over 50 years, has redefined football through hard work and innovation, achieving notable accomplishments both in Romania and internationally.

He was a mentor to many players, inspiring them to enhance and develop their skills and characters. Predoiu highlighted that Lucescu built not only competitive teams but also a culture of performance, demonstrating integrity and moral principles in difficult times. His name will inspire future generations of athletes, and the naming of the C.S. Dinamo Bucharest Arena in his honor represents a tribute to a life dedicated to excellence.
