The National Investment Company announces the start of construction work on the infrastructure of the new Dinamo arena

The project for the new Dinamo multifunctional arena is entering the stage of actual infrastructure construction, following the completion of technical adaptations regarding the foundation solution and the coordination of the works with the utility networks in the area. The National Investment Company announced that the next interventions will take place at the stadium site in Bucharest.

In the first stage, the builders will complete the second phase of demolishing the old structures remaining on the site. Subsequently, heavy machinery will arrive at the construction site to carry out deep excavations and install bored piles. The infrastructure works will use a mixed foundation solution: indirect, on piles, in the arena area, and direct, for the perimeter buildings.

CNI states that the approved technical and economic parameters will be strictly monitored throughout the construction. The new arena will have 26,217 seats and will include the football pitch, training halls for CS Dinamo disciplines, accommodation facilities, the club museum, administrative areas, and commercial spaces.

The estimated value of the works is approximately 117 million euros. The complex will also include a hotel for athletes, as well as a tower with a helipad intended for Floreasca Emergency Hospital. The Sector 1 City Hall issued the building permit for the tower in July.
