CNI has issued the order to commence construction work on the new “Gheorghe Hagi” stadium in Constanța

The National Investment Company has issued the order to begin work on the new “Gheorghe Hagi” Stadium in Constanța. Work will begin on October 1, on the land located at 2–11 Primăverii Street, marking the launch of one of the municipality’s most important sports infrastructure projects.

The new arena is presented as a major project for Constanța and Romanian sport, with the aim of becoming a symbol of sporting excellence and development. The investment is financed by the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration through the National Investment Company.

The project is being carried out under the National Construction Program for Public or Social Interest. The works will be executed by the consortium formed by Construcții Erbașu and TRACON S.R.L.

The issuance of the official order opens the stadium’s actual construction phase, following the completion of the administrative and contracting stages. The new arena is intended to support the development of elite sport and provide Constanța with modern infrastructure for competitions and sporting events.
