Scotland achieved a spectacular victory with 4-2 against Denmark, thus securing qualification for the World Cup for the first time since 1998. The match, held on Tuesday in Glasgow, was full of intensity, with decisive actions in the final minutes. Scott McTominay opened the scoring with a spectacular goal in the 3rd minute, but Denmark equalized through Rasmus Hojlund. Lawrence Shankland restored Scotland's lead, but Patrick Dorgu equalized again for the Danes. With just a few minutes before the end, Kieran Tierney scored again for Scotland, and Kenny McLean sealed the score in the 98th minute, ensuring the victory. Although Denmark played well and had a player sent off, they finished second in the group and now must participate in playoffs to hope for qualification for the World Cup. Scotland's coach, Steve Clarke, emphasized the importance of this match, and captain Andy Robertson stated that the team showed determination until the end.
