Saudi Arabia has unveiled plans for the NEOM Sky Stadium, an innovative stadium suspended 350 meters above the desert, part of the megaproject The Line, set to be completed by 2032. It will be the first stadium in the world built at such an altitude, with a capacity of 46,000 seats and operating solely on renewable energy. The stadium will feature advanced technology, including a retractable roof, smart natural ventilation, and a holographic projection system. Construction will begin in 2027, and the arena will be ready before the 2034 World Cup, which Saudi Arabia will host, along with 15 other stadiums, the largest of which will be King Salman International Stadium in Riyadh, with 92,760 seats.
