The Romanian women's handball national team was defeated by Norway with a score of 29-27 (16-11) on Wednesday evening in Larik, in Group A of the EHF Euro Cup 2026.
The main scorers of the match were Reistad 10 goals, Breistol 4, Rushfeldt 4, for Norway, and Gorzav 7, Ostase 5, Roșu 5, for Romania.
The EHF EuroCup is an unofficial but welcome competition for the tricolors, as they prepare for the World Championship, between November 27 – December 14, in Germany and the Netherlands. Romania will play in Group A in Rotterdam, against Croatia (November 27), Japan (November 29), and Denmark (December 1).
