Laurențiu Reghecampf has managed to lead Al-Hilal Omdurman, a team from Sudan, to the Rwandan championship title (the team was moved to the Rwandan league due to tensions in Sudan), currently sitting at the top of the standings with 70 points, after a convincing 2-0 victory against Muhanca. With three matches remaining in the current season, Al-Hilal cannot be surpassed, having a considerable lead over the following teams APR, with 59 points from 31 games, and Al-Merreikh, with 58 points in 30 matches.
This success represents the ninth trophy in Reghecampf's coaching career, who has previously won two Super Cups and the League Cup with Al-Wahda, as well as two championship titles, a League Cup, and a Super Cup with FCSB. With this victory, Al-Hilal Omdurman extends its trophy cabinet to 32 championship titles.
