Joao Paulo has signed a contract with FCSB after successfully passing the medical examination. The transfer, announced by Gigi Becali, will be officially confirmed soon, and the player will be presented to join the team coached by Elias Charalambous and Mihai Pintilii. FCSB will pay 350,000 euros for Paulo's transfer, plus 20% of any future transfer. Oțelul, the club from which the player comes, will benefit from a clause that will allow them to receive a sum from FIFA if Paulo participates in the 2026 World Cup, which could bring the club nearly one million euros. Joao Paulo will have a monthly salary of 15,000 euros at FCSB.
