After the surgery, which went well, Rune shared reassuring news on his Instagram account, thanking fans for their support. He announced that he will begin a long recovery period, estimated to be between six months and a year, during which he will be absent from the tennis courts. Rune promised to keep his fans updated on his recovery progress.
