Hermannstadt is in search of a new coach, and Dorinel Munteanu is the favorite to take over the team, according to the Liga Digi Sport show. Munteanu, free of contract since April, after parting ways with Sepsi, could be an inspired choice, considering he previously played for Inter Sibiu. Financier Claudiu Rotar mentioned that he cannot confirm the appointment until the contract is signed, but acknowledged that Munteanu is on the shortlist of candidates. Hermannstadt is facing a difficult situation, sitting in 15th place in the SuperLiga, with only 12 points, and has had a poor start to the season. Rotar emphasized the need for a rebuild and mentioned that the new coach will have time to implement changes. The official announcement of the new coach is expected soon.
