Graham Potter has been appointed the new coach of the Swedish national team, less than a month after being dismissed from West Ham.
At the age of 50, he accepted the role for an initial short-term period, in an attempt to help Sweden in its World Cup qualifying campaign. Potter was dismissed from West Ham at the end of September, after a disappointing start to the season.
Graham Potter has a positive image in Sweden, after achieving three promotions in four seasons at Ostersund, taking them from the fourth division to the top league, while also winning a national cup in 2017.
