The Wolves club from the Premier League has confirmed the appointment of Rob Edwards as manager, who has signed a contract for three and a half years. Edwards, a former coach at Middlesbrough, replaces Vitor Pereira, who was dismissed after a poor start to the season, with only two points from 11 matches. At 42 years old, Edwards returns to Wolves, where he previously played and held coaching roles.
The club's president, Jeff Shi, emphasized Edwards' knowledge of the club and the city, as well as his tactical skills. Edwards led Middlesbrough to second place in the Championship before leaving. He will be assisted by Harry Watling and will debut on November 22, in the match against Crystal Palace.
