A former Superliga winner has signed with Concordia Chiajna

Billel Omrani, the French striker who has reached 32 years of age, has struck a deal with Concordia Chiajna. The agreement signed between the two parties is valid until this summer, with both sides hoping for a partnership that will bring mutual benefits in the short term. Billel Omrani has won five titles and two Super Cups in Romania, all with CFR Cluj.

The president of the club in Chiajna, Cristian Tănase, confirmed on Thursday, February 26, the conclusion of an agreement.

"We have signed the contract with Omrani, only the official announcement remains. His CV looks very good and we needed a striker. We made no financial effort, he earns a normal income for Liga 2. The medical check went normally, he is in good shape with his weight and has been training separately lately,"  explained Cristian Tănase.
