Anthony Joshua, former world champion in the heavyweight category, will return to the ring on July 25 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, after a seven-month break caused by a car accident in which two of his close associates died. The British boxer, at the age of 36, stated that he used this time to rebuild himself and prepare for his return to competition. Joshua will fight against the Albanian Kristian Prenga, a match considered a preparation for an anticipated confrontation with Tyson Fury, former world champion, planned for November, but still unconfirmed. His last match was in December 2025, when he faced YouTuber Jake Paul, before taking a break due to the car accident he suffered in Nigeria, in which he sustained minor injuries.
