Survey conducted in the Republic of Moldova: 48% of Moldovans would vote against unification with Romania, 38% would vote for unification

According to an opinion poll conducted by Ates Research Group and cited by Radio Chișinău, 48.1% of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova would oppose unification with Romania, while 38.5% would vote for unification in a potential referendum.

Regarding European integration, 59% of respondents would support the Republic of Moldova's accession to the European Union, while 28.4% would oppose it. The poll also reveals that 50.3% of Moldovans would oppose joining NATO, with only 28.5% in favor of this option.

The poll was conducted at the end of May and the beginning of June on a representative sample of 1004 respondents, with a margin of error of ±3%.
