In August, rents for studios and one or two-bedroom apartments in old buildings increased by up to 20%, especially due to the return of students to Chișinău. Prices for affordable housing, with rents below 400 euros, have risen significantly, while more expensive apartments remain unchanged. Tenants feel these increases but adapt, often choosing to share costs with other tenants. Real estate expert Victor Cernomorcenco estimates that prices will remain stable in the coming months, with a possible slight decrease in the budget segment.
