Moldova has secured over 90% of the necessary gas for the winter season 2025-2026, according to the Minister of Energy, Dorin Junghietu

The Minister of Energy, Dorin Junghietu, announced that the Republic of Moldova has already secured over 90% of the necessary volume of natural gas for the period 2025-2026, including for the cold season. Authorities must purchase up to 1 October 2.9 million cubic meters for safety reserves. Currently, there are 44 million cubic meters in storage in Ukraine and Romania, intended for consumption on the right bank of the Dniester. Gas prices will be analyzed after the completion of safety stocks.
