The project aims to modernize sanitation infrastructure through separate waste collection and the construction of regional centers equipped with modern equipment for sorting, recycling and composting. The initiative starts in Region 5, including the Ungheni, Nisporeni and Calarasi districts, where the tender for the infrastructure has been launched. Each household will have two waste bins and waste will be transported by modern trucks to transfer stations for processing. Other regions will follow in the near future.
