A drone exploded in the Orhei district of the Republic of Moldova. Authorities say there are no victims.

An unidentified flying object, "possibly a drone", exploded on the night from Sunday to Monday. Near the village of Lopatna in the Orhei district, generating a rapid mobilization of intervention forces.

The incident was reported to the Police by a local resident around midnight. An operational group and specialized teams, including specialists from the Technical Explosive Service and representatives of the Exceptional Situations Directorate from Orhei, immediately intervened at the scene. Authorities isolated and secured the area, monitoring it according to standard procedures. Initial checks confirmed that no casualties were recorded. Responsible institutions are collaborating with the competent national structures to establish the exact circumstances of the incident.
