Four years since the beginning of the Russian war against Ukraine, the Prime Minister of Moldova, Alexandru Munteanu, shared his experiences from the early days of the conflict when he was in Kyiv. Munteanu described how he woke up after the explosions, mentioning that the sirens did not initially activate, and the bombings targeted a nearby airfield.

He emphasized the brutality of the war waged by the Russian Federation, which has affected Ukrainian cities and turned winters into weapons against the population. Despite the suffering, Munteanu highlighted the determination and unity of the Ukrainian people, who continue to fight for freedom. He also noted European solidarity, with thousands of Ukrainian refugees receiving help from citizens of neighboring countries.
