Member of the European Parliament Victor Negrescu has announced his candidacy for a new term as vice-president of the Party of European Socialists

During an online meeting, Victor Negrescu stated that he wishes for a new term as vice president of the Party of European Socialists (PES), emphasizing the importance of this position for representing Romania. The announcement was made together with the PES president, Stefan Löfven, ahead of the congress in Amsterdam, which will establish the new leadership of the organization. Negrescu thanked his colleagues from the Social Democratic Party and highlighted his previous achievements in promoting European values and strengthening Romania's role in the social-democratic family.
