USR has reported to the Prosecutor's Office next to the High Court of Cassation and Justice with a criminal complaint for intellectual forgery, regarding an amendment that appeared in the report of the Legal Committee, without being voted on or discussed by members. Diana Stoica, the leader of the USR deputies, stated that the amendment, which is listed at position 193 in the report, was not subjected to debate or voting, which contravenes legislative procedures.
USR is requesting an investigation to identify the person responsible for its introduction. Stoica emphasized that the amendment cannot be considered a material error, given that it was correctly drafted and contains specific terms. The criminal complaint calls for the urgent administration of evidence, including the official report and relevant documents. USR, together with PNL, has reintroduced the ANI law without the contested amendment, accusing PSD of introducing targeted changes to target the president of USR, Dominic Fritz. The law was rejected in plenary, with votes from PSD and UDMR.
