The Standing Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies forwarded to the Legal Committee, for review and a report, a complaint filed by USR parliamentary group leader Diana Stoica against presiding officer Natalia Intotero. The complaint concerns alleged violations of the rules during the plenary session of October 5, 2026, as well as during the Standing Bureau meeting on September 16 and the joint Standing Bureaus’ meeting on September 8.
Diana Stoica claims that, during the October 5 plenary session, she was not allowed to complete her intervention concerning a procedural issue. According to the complaint, her microphone was allegedly cut off after approximately one minute and 21 seconds, although she had two minutes available for her intervention.
The MP also complains that, on September 16, Natalia Intotero allegedly put to a vote, in breach of the rules, a USR and PNL request to establish an inquiry committee into private flights to Mykonos and Nice taken by MPs, dignitaries and judges of the Constitutional Court. Stoica says this authority belonged to the plenary, not the Standing Bureau.
In addition, the USR leader accuses the presiding officer of cutting off microphones and refusing to give the floor in cases involving procedural or personal matters, rights provided for under Article 156 of the rules. The Legal Committee is expected to review the complaint and prepare a report.
