Recently, Dan Reșitnec, former chief of staff of the mayor of Timișoara, was appointed deputy secretary general of the Government from USR, while Adrian Țuțuianu from PSD got a post of secretary of state. This appointment took place in the context in which the Executive led by Ilie Bolojan decided to create a third post of deputy secretary general, contrary to the demands to reduce the number of posts in the public sector, which underlines the influence of USR in the Government.
