Acting Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated on Friday evening that he has no particular expectations from the ministers proposed by the PSD and that he does not believe the Social Democrats will change the way they manage finances and the budget. “I have no other expectations” and “I have no hope that the wolf will change its ways,” said the PNL leader.
Bolojan specified that a possible vote by the liberals to install the Government will not automatically mean a vote of support or endorsement of the composition of the Executive. According to him, the formation of the government is the result of decisions by President Nicușor Dan, who nominated Luca Niculescu, and by the PSD, the party that decided to join the government and appointed its ministers.
The acting prime minister stated that the Social Democrats’ nominations reflect the human resources available within the party. He added that he will not criticize his former colleagues merely because they are now in a different position.
