The Minister of Development, Public Works and Administration, Cseke Attila, stated that UDMR wants to form a "grand coalition", similar to models from other countries, to prevent the "extreme" from accessing power.
During a visit to Arad County, he emphasized the need for a government with full powers, considering that Romania is facing an interim government for three and a half months, which limits the ability to take effective measures.
Cseke highlighted the importance of dialogue among pro-Western parties, stating that blunt messages do not help in forming a majority. He mentioned that in September, when the parliamentary session begins, it is essential for Romania to have a stable government.
He also emphasized that a technocratic government would not have parliamentary support, which would make the implementation of legislative projects difficult.
