The liberal Adrian Veștea declared on Monday at Digi24 that he was assured, at the moment he discussed with President Nicușor Dan and Eugen Tomac, that there are already over 240 votes for his support at the moment he was proposed for the position of prime minister.
"I was assured, at the moment I was talking with Eugen Tomac and Mr. President, that, in fact, there is already a part of the pro-European, pro-Western forces convinced that there is a majority and that a part of PNL will also come, several leaders have evaluated, but what mattered is that I am a balanced person, of dialogue, I have the capacity to create management to take Romania through the crisis period. Tomac assured me that we have this base of votes, I don't believe there was any involvement from the president," said Veștea
