The no-confidence motion initiated by the Opposition against the Government led by Ilie Bolojan was rejected in Parliament with 134 votes 'for' and 4 'against', 233 votes being needed for validation. The motion was debated after the Bolojan cabinet had pledged its responsibility on a package of fiscal measures. The turnout was 398 out of 464 MPs. The draft fiscal measures will thus be adopted.
