The Ministry of Justice has identified mistakes in Romsilva's reorganization project, asking for it to be redrafted to comply with the law.

The Federation of Forestry Unions SILVA has announced that the Ministry of Justice has asked for the draft Government Decision on the reorganization of Romsilva to be redrafted, citing legal and administrative errors. The draft envisages reducing the number of forestry directorates from 41 to 12 and dismissing 90% of the directors, generating savings of 19 million lei. The ministry stressed that the proposed measures have no legal backing and that the project does not comply with labor legislation. The federation also criticized the Environment Ministry for a campaign to denigrate Romsilva, underlining the importance of the expertise of the company's foresters.
