The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oana Țoiu, announced the withdrawal of the public utility status of the Association for International Law and International Relations (ADIRI) because the organization has not met the legal criteria for five years. The decision will be formalized in the next government meeting through a Government Decision. Țoiu emphasized that public utility status is not a perpetual privilege, and ADIRI has not complied with the legal obligations for annual reporting, including the submission of activity reports.
The Minister has initiated an analysis of organizations recognized as having public utility, highlighting the importance of transparency and restoring trust between the state and citizens. Oana Țoiu stated that the pressure for correct decisions will continue, and reform efforts will require courage and clarity.
