The Bucharest Court of Appeal suspended the order issued by the Minister of Transport, Radu Miruță, through which five major infrastructure projects were to be transferred from CNAIR to CNIR, thus providing a stage victory for the leadership of CNAIR and director Cristian Pistol. The court's decision remains valid until the case is judged on its merits and can be appealed within five days. The dispute concerns important projects such as DEx Oradea-Arad, the Bucharest-Alexandria Highway, and the Giurgiu-Ruse II bridge, and CNAIR argued that the order was issued without consultation and within an impossible timeframe. On the other hand, the Ministry of Transport and CNIR argued that the projects are severely delayed and that the transfer is necessary to accelerate the work.
