At the meeting on Friday, the Government will discuss and adopt Package II of fiscal measures to reduce the deficit, following consultations with social partners. Education unions warn of ongoing protests, announcing the opening of the school year in front of government institutions. Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan emphasized the necessity of these measures to correct budgetary imbalances and promised that the reduction of state expenditures and the increase of revenues will continue.
