A bill adopted by the Government establishes strict integrity rules for officials and contractual staff, including pre- and post-employment restrictions.

The Government spokesperson, Ioana Dogioiu, announced the amendments made to the ANI law, which impose a uniform framework of restrictions for dignitaries and contractual personnel. They must submit a declaration regarding previous employments within 15 days of their appointment. At the end of their term, they are obliged to notify ANI about their subsequent employment intentions, in order to prevent conflicts of interest. Failure to comply with these rules incurs significant contraventional penalties.
