The leaders of the governing Coalition are meeting at 14:00 to analyze the situation of judges' pensions, after the project was rejected by the Constitutional Court. Tensions between the parties have increased, especially after the PSD convened separate discussions with representatives from Justice and proposed a new bill that would provide judges with a higher pension than the one initially adopted by the Government.

Sorin Grindeanu, who left the last meeting of the Coalition after his proposal to form a working group was rejected, organized a meeting with leaders from Justice to discuss the changes. The PSD suggests that pensions should be 75% of the last net salary, instead of 70%, and a transition period of 15 years to reach the retirement age of 65. Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan invited the PSD to submit a motion of no confidence if they no longer support the Government, emphasizing that the current situation is problematic.
