This meeting takes place in the context of tensions between the coalition parties, which have led to blockages in the adoption of reforms related to judges' pensions, the increase of the minimum wage, and the economic recovery package proposed by the PSD. Additionally, a decision is awaited following the publication of the Constitutional Court's reasoning on the issue of judges' pensions.

The discussions will include the leaders of PSD, PNL, USR, UDMR, and minorities, taking place after a period of tensions and legislative blockages. Furthermore, PSD has requested explanations from Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan regarding the resizing of US troops in Romania and has called for the dismissal of the director of the Railway Reform Authority.
