Deputy Prime Minister Tanczos Barna: "A motion of no confidence will definitely be presented and it will be the first test for the opposition if they can bring down the minority government."

Deputy Prime Minister Tanczos Barna stated that the minority government formed by PNL, USR, UDMR and national minorities will face a motion of censure, considering that this will be the first challenge for the opposition.

Tanczos Barna emphasized the difficulty of gathering votes for the dismissal of a sitting government, which has levers to convince parliamentarians not to vote for the motion. Tanczos ruled out the possibility of PSD or AUR being nominated to form a new government, given that PSD does not want an alliance with AUR. He suggested that one option could be a rearrangement of the current coalition or the formation of a minority government led by a technocrat or a politician who can gather votes from Parliament.
