Minister Pîslaru announced that Romania has finalized a pre-agreement with the European Commission on the renegotiation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), obtaining a total allocation of EUR 21.62 billion, of which EUR 13.56 billion are grants and EUR 8.06 billion are loans. The adopted Memorandum confirms the securitization of grants and provides predictability on investments. The European Commission is expected to approve this renegotiated version in September, with final approval in October.
