The interim Minister of Defense, Radu Miruță, discussed on TVR INFO about the option of a political government led by a technocratic prime minister, mentioning that such a solution could be accepted by all parties, but it depends on choosing the right person. He emphasized that the country cannot remain without a government and that the expectations of citizens must be met.

Miruță criticized the PSD for the lack of coherence in the government's decisions. The atmosphere in the government has become calmer after the departure of the PSD, but work continues. Among the possible technocratic prime ministers are Radu Burnete, Șerban Matei, and Delia Velculescu, the latter being known for her experience at the International Monetary Fund.

"A solution is something that is accepted by all parties. Who is the person, what mandate, how the political parties position themselves in relation to that person, is not a solution that we can introduce, just with 13% in Parliament. We are telling you what our point of view is, we are consistent with what we have said, we believe and state with arguments why we believe this, after all, and this manifestation of each political party towards finding a solution is also appreciated by citizens as a consequence. The country cannot remain without a government. It has happened, the country must have a government. What that government will be and how it will be composed, we need to look a bit at the culprits, because it is not a matter of forgetting the notebook at home and coming back tomorrow, because we are not in the second grade as the Social Democratic Party would like. We are in the government of Romania, where people are waiting for some solutions. And this waiting for a solution will not be resolved just because the PSD says after the government meeting that it did not agree with something it just voted on in the government meeting. It was downright absurd," stated the interim Minister of Defense.
