Following the consultations at Cotroceni Palace, USR deputy Radu Dinel Miruță presented the party’s scenarios for forming the future government. USR supports appointing a technocratic prime minister and is also considering two successive minority governments.

Miruță translated the political formulas analyzed by the party into programming language, to highlight the possible options for configuring the executive. According to this approach, the scenarios differ depending on parliamentary support and the composition of the majority that would support the government.

The USR deputy did not include PSD in the calculations presented and did not support forming a coalition with the Social Democrats. The party thus maintains the position it expressed after the consultations at Cotroceni, where it advocated for a technocratic solution to lead the executive.

In Radu Dinel Miruță’s analysis, early elections are the last option, should the parties fail to reach an agreement on forming and supporting a government. The consultations at Cotroceni focused on identifying a political solution for the future cabinet.
