The PSD, through its interim leader Sorin Grindeanu, expresses its support for a package of measures aimed at eliminating privileges and restarting essential infrastructure projects such as roads, gas and water. Grindeanu points out that the halting of some 2,700 projects is a disregard for Romanians' needs and a waste of resources. He calls for rigorous assessments for each project and says the PSD will not get out of government as it has a responsibility to local communities.
